About RISE Foundation
RISE Foundation exists to provide entrepreneurial and innovation opportunities to all students, regardless of background, by providing the tools and resources to turn their ideas into reality. We believe that diverse perspectives and an inclusive environment help to drive the most impactful and successful innovations.

We believe in the power of innovative ideas and creative thinking, and seek to foster an environment where students think differently, challenge assumptions, and develop solutions to real-world problems.
Entrepreneurship
We believe that students are often those with the most relevant and beneficial ideas to society. We value and support the practice of turning these ideas into reality and building successful ventures, and aim to help students develop real entrepreneurial skills.
Equity
We believe that access to opportunity should not be determined by background, income, or geography, and that every student should be allowed to turn their ideas into life. We aim to level the playing field by providing students from diverse background with the tools and resources to be successful.
Community
We believe that change and success is built through connection. We aim to foster a collaborative environment where students constantly challenge each others ideas, think critically, and support each other. Our students value their community and often build ventures that give back.
Our Journey
RISE Club founded
RISE started as a club at Madison West High School, and quickly grew to over 50 members, making us one of the top clubs at our school.
First fundraiser
Our first fundraising event landed us over ten local business sponsors, demonstrating the community's belief in our mission.
First student-run business launched
A group of students successfully created a product, launched their first venture, and landed a deal with the local co-op.
RISE Foundation formally launched
After our success and seeing the future potential, we established RISE Foundation as a non-profit to expand our impact and create an organization dedicated to bringing even more students' ideas to life.
RISE Today
Today, RISE Foundation is focused on expanding reach to support student entrepreneurs and innovators across the nation. We also have a strong commitment to equity and want to ensure that all students have equal access to entrepreneurial and innovation opportunities.
Our plans include launching a scholarship program, which will be live during the summer of 2025, and expanding our network and resources for students who are interested in RISE.
